Flash Mixers

Flash Mixer Mechanisms are slow to medium Speed Agitator in Tanks for mixing/Dispersing Coagulant in contious manner. INDOFAB experts design the Flash Mixer Mechanism considering the following key Design parameters such as mixing time, Power to volume ratio, minimum Impellor Diameter for the tank size, viscosity of the Liquid & Impellor Design. Material of Construction and Duty conditions are selected as per the Process requirements. INDOFAB Flash Mixers are high efficient due to Helical Gear transmissions & are highly stable due to Lantern support bearing assembly. Balanced Impellor Design is preferred for stability & trouble free operation.

Flash Mixer Mechanisms normally consists of Helical/Worm Gear box, Motor, Rigid Coupling, shaft , Impellor, Lantern support with bearing housing and Mounting Mechanism Support Spanning the Tank.

At times if the Tank cannot support the Mechanism addtional support structure from Ground Level is provided to support the Mecahnism . INDOFAB Flash Mixer Mechanism are checked for stability, balancing and Vibrational cirtical frequency does ensuring the client of no trouble during operation.

  • Square or Rectangular tanks of 0.7 Mtrs to 4.0 Mtr Size are most commonly preferred sizes.
  • Speed ranges from 172 rpm to 56 rpm based on the impellor diameter and tank size.
  • Impellor Designs commonly used are Pitch Blade Turbine , Six Bladed Turbine or Radial Impellor.
  • Flash Mixer Wetted Components are usually SS304 SS316 or Carbon Steel Rubberlined in construction.

Flash Mixers or Rapid Mixers Mechanism are widely used in all Industrial, water & Waste Water Application for Rapidly and uniformly dispersing Coagulant all over the tank liquid. Usually slow to medium speed impellors are designed for optimum power consumption for maintianing turbulent stage of liquid. Baffled tanks are preferred and give better results for large size of flaxh mixers.
